Doors and Windows, no gates.
This strange house is in Castletownbere near where I live. The doors and windows are all fake or at least boarded up and painted on. Why this is, is beyond me. The only hint that I can see is that the house itself is on the small size. Maybe it was build for the little people and they can no longer pay the rent? If you know the story of this house please do send it in. The best story wins a prize.

Once upon a time there was this techno-nerd who set up a web site and then a blog and then a facebook site and then a twitter feed and then a…, well one day he went a little crazy because EVERYONE was looking at him so he joined a buddhist sect to get away from them all.
At the top of the mountain one day god found him and said “son what are you doing?”

Well all the meditating had lightened his being so instead of falling he flew, so he hovered around a bit until he spied Castletownbere which is as beautiful a place as he could imagine so he drifted down, settling inside the wee house with no gates that fortunately was empty.
He was happy, just a little paranoid – a sort of twittering facebook feedback that only the Fairies would be able to cure.
Eventually.
But it would take time .
So for the time being he blacked out all th ewindows so noone could see him.
