1,000 True Fans
Kevin Kelly (a hero of mine espouses the idea creative artists aiming for 1,000 true fans. I like the idea as it suggest the concept of looking at what the ‘fan’ gets and want from the relation ship which in turn informs the marketing strategy. If you look at your services from the users point of view it will lead you into what you can sell them.
Ask yourself what do I have that is unique that I can give to people that they will find useful. What parts of your life experience can you teach. Maybe all of it?

One thousand is a feasible number. You could count to 1,000. If you added one fan a day, it would take only three years.
