They seem to be in the harbour all the time. It's one of those mysteries that is probably self evident to all the fishermen and their families and all the people who work in the industry but I have no idea why all this hardware should be hanging around. It must cost millions. Is there not anything else that could be done with these boats? Answers on a postcard please….

This strange house is in Castletownbere near where I live. The doors and windows are all fake or at least boarded up and painted on. Why this is, is beyond me. The only hint that I can see is that the house itself is on the small size. Maybe it was build for the little people and they can no longer pay the rent? If you know the story of this house please do send it in. The best story wins a prize.

I took the picture in Killarney maybe hard to see but it was a whole sales board full of little dolls. Kinda strange but then it was a head shop in the middle of a victorian tourist town. What can you do?

This time up hill out of town and managed to get into the refuse station with my recycled rubbish for free! Whooh! I saved €3 and got fit pulling the bike trailer up the hill.

Not sure if they would charge me but they seemed to just ignore me as dumped my stuff in the bins. Can they really count me as a vehicle? Will I ask them the next time if they have an official policy on bike trailers?

In other news: i spoke to a musician friend and we are getting together to talk about doing a show together. Crazy huh? Remember you heard it here first…..
